Medjool Date and Tahini Greek Yogurt Bowl
Thick Greek yogurt swirled with rich tahini, chewy Medjool dates, and crunchy pistachios for a high-protein breakfast.
Creamy Greek yogurt pairs effortlessly with the deep, nutty richness of pure sesame tahini. Finely chopped Medjool dates lend caramel-like sweetness without pushing sugar over the edge, while crushed raw pistachios deliver a satisfying crunch. It comes together in just minutes for a balanced, Middle Eastern-inspired morning.

Method
- 1
Pit the Medjool dates and slice them into small, delicate pieces so their natural sweetness disperses evenly across every spoonful, taking about 2 minutes.
- 2
Place the raw pistachios on a cutting board and chop them into coarse, uneven rubble for texture, taking roughly 1 minute.
- 3
Divide the plain Greek yogurt evenly between two wide, shallow serving bowls, using the back of a spoon to smooth the top into gentle swoops for 1 minute.
- 4
Stir the jar of tahini until completely smooth, then drizzle 2 tablespoons over each bowl of yogurt and draw the tip of a spoon through to create marbling for 1 minute.
- 5
Scatter the chopped Medjool dates and chopped raw pistachios over each bowl, then dust with the ground cinnamon and a delicate pinch of flaky sea salt for 2 minutes before serving immediately.
For meal prep, pre-chop the dates and pistachios and store them in an airtight container at room temperature. Swirl the tahini into the cold yogurt just before eating to preserve its velvety ribbons.
