Frozen Banana Dark Chocolate Peanut Pops
Chilled banana pops dipped in rich dark chocolate and crusted with crunchy roasted peanuts and flaky sea salt.
These easy frozen banana pops deliver all the nostalgic fun of a summer treat using pure, unrefined ingredients. Sweet ripe bananas are skewered, bathed in glossy dark chocolate, and rolled in crunchy salted peanuts for a satisfying sweet-and-salty bite. They chill fast in the freezer, making them a quick dairy-free dessert you can enjoy anytime.
Ingredients
Every ingredient is a real Clearshelf product, scored- 652 bananas, peeled and cut crosswise into halves
- 9350 g 100% dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 962 tsp virgin coconut oil
- 951 tsp pure maple syrup
- 592 tbsp salted mixed nuts with peanuts, finely chopped

Method
- 1
Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Insert a wooden skewer or popsicle stick into the cut end of each of the four halved bananas, then place them on the baking sheet and flash-freeze for 10 minutes to firm up.
- 2
While the bananas chill, finely chop the salted mixed nuts with peanuts on a cutting board and spread them across a shallow plate in an even layer, taking about 2 minutes.
- 3
Combine the finely chopped 100% dark chocolate, virgin coconut oil, and pure maple syrup in a heatproof bowl set over a small pot of simmering water over low heat; stir continuously until melted, smooth, and glossy, about 3 minutes, then remove from the heat.
- 4
Pour the warm melted chocolate mixture into a narrow glass. Remove the chilled bananas from the freezer and dip each one into the chocolate to coat three-quarters of the way up, allowing the excess to drip back into the glass for 2 minutes total.
- 5
Immediately roll the chocolate-coated bananas in the chopped salted mixed nuts with peanuts, sprinkle lightly with the flaky sea salt, and return to the parchment-lined sheet to freeze for 3 minutes until the chocolate shell hardens.
Store leftover pops in an airtight container layered with parchment paper in the freezer for up to one month. For an even firmer bite, freeze the bananas for an hour before dipping.
